    • You like the idea of your dog staying in a home versus a traditional boarding facility.

    • Hiring a petsitter to stay in your home while you’re away is not your preferred choice.

  • Yes, we adore special needs dogs and have made it our mission to dedicate our lives to making sure they are cared for. Our services are all inclusive. We can express your dog’s bladder, change diapers, give baths, help with mobility, support with PT exercises, handle incontinence, manage medications, and provide enrichment activities. We also firmly believe that all dogs, no matter their age or level of mobility, deserve fresh air, sunshine and quality outside time. We’ve made it our mission to give special needs dogs all the adventure time they need and we have a pretty cool Jeep wagon they can ride in!

  • Yes! We are licensed in our city and fully insured by Pet Care Insurance (PCI).

  • If your dog becomes ill or requires medical attention, we will promptly attempt to contact you first, and if we can’t reach you, we will contact your designated emergency contacts. In the event that we are unable to reach either of you, and believe that your dog needs specialized medical care beyond our capabilities, we will seek care from a trusted veterinary facility.

  • When you book on our website, you can pay by card. If you would like to pay with Venmo instead, let us know and we can book your dog’s staycation for you. Our business Venmo is @staycationclubfordogs

  • We’re located about 20 minutes from downtown San Diego, just past La Mesa. Our home is conveniently accessible from the 8, 94 and 125 freeways. Any address that might be listed online serves as our designated business mailing address. We’ll gladly provide our residential address to confirmed clients, but for privacy reasons, we have chosen not to display it publicly online.

  • Besides having lots of space for dogs to roam and play, we also have a variety of enrichment activities, treat puzzles and games for our guests. In addition, every day (weather permitting) we venture out to explore San Diego's best dog-friendly trails both locally and around the city. Please note that dogs must be well-behaved and have the proper training to join our adventures. Some dogs are not comfortable riding in cars, and that’s okay. We don’t force it. We tailor every adventure to the comfort level and needs of our dog guests, and can stay local around our neighborhood if that’s ever the case. For your peace of mind, and for the safety of our dog guests, adventures are always on-leash. We love nature and wide open spaces!
